I will leave it up in case iPhoto does return to the App Store. However, the first time I attempted to use iPhoto to edit some photos imported from my Samsung Galaxy CORE LTE, I had to update iPhoto. I recently upgraded my MacBook Pro mid-2012 system to Yosemite (10.10.3).
